RV Senior Community Park
is near many beautiful lakes, including Toledo
Bend, Lake
Livingston, Steinhagan
Lake (located in the
Martin Dies, Jr. State Park), Sabine
Lake, and Sam
Rayburn Lake.
We
are also near the Big
Thicket National Preserve that has approximately 85,000 acres, and
the Angelina
National Forest with approximately 153,179 acres.

Paradise
RV Senior Community Park
is located 50 miles north of Beaumont
and 50 miles south of Lufkin,
Texas on Highway 69. If you are traveling on HWY 190, we are located
30 miles east of Livingston
and 60 miles southwest of Nacogdoches,
Texas.
We
are also located 1 mile from the world famous Pickett
House Restaurant that serves boarding house style all you can eat
fried chicken, chicken & dumplings, country vegetables, cobbler, biscuits
& cornbread and lots more. The Pickett House is known for having the
best home style eating in all of Texas.
The Heritage
Village Museum is another attraction that is located in the same area
as the Picket House Restaurant. This historical museum is a celebration
of the area's rich heritage and it can be experienced year round at Woodville's
Heritage
Village. The museum is a unique collection of pioneer buildings and
artifacts depicting life in early Tyler County and is maintained by the
Tyler County Heritage Society.
We
also have the Allan
Shivers Library and Museum, a restored Victorian home that was given
to the people of Woodville from the former Texas Governor and Mrs. Allan
Shivers. Among handsome furnishings that can be seen, you can also lay
your eyes upon fantastic carpeting from France. The museum has historical
documents of the Shivers administration and many more items on display.
We
cannot leave out the famous Alabama-Coushatta
Indian Reservation, which is home of the Alabama-Coushatta
Indians, part of the Southern forest tribes, in the dense wooded area
known as the Big Thicket.
We
are located beside Dogwood
Hills Golf Course, a beautiful and challenging 9-hole golf course.
So if you have a golf cart you can drive right over from Paradise RV Senior
Community Park to this wonderful course and enjoy what it has to offer.
